Winter 02/03/222. Be grateful.

Beautiful snowy day! 

Woke up this morning and had a cup of joe!  

Always be grateful to be alive.  One of the thing that I am learning is that the more grateful I am, the more I realized how BLESSED I am.  

There are seven things I am grateful for.  

I wake up thanking God.  You can call the higher power whatever you want to.  It's your faith.  It's about thanking the Higher Power or in my case, my Father who is in Me, for everything He has done for me.  

I made a cup of coffee.  Simple things like a cup of coffee are something I am thankful for.  I can see the creamy brown color, I can smell the aroma of it, I can feel the warmth of the cup, I can taste the richness of the coffee, and hear the water boiling to make a cup of coffee with my hearing aids.  

I get to put my prosthetic leg on.  I get to walk around the house.  I take my dog out.  I moonwalk (yeah right!), and I do things that I took for granted.  I told myself, "wow, I am so grateful that I can walk".  

Thank God for family and friends' support and those who believe in your dreams, your visions, and your success.  The naysayers can say whatever they want but that's their belief!  Don't believe those words that don't serve you.  

I thank God for the lady, Andrea, who loves me.  She encourages me, uplifts me, and always say, " YOU CAN DO IT!"  Even when I feel stuck, discouraged, or unworthy, she always says, " I LOVE YOU, don't give up, be amazing!"  and those words fuel my passions and my success. 

I am also grateful for my mentors/coaches.  They believe in me and they don't care about my disabilities.  They care about my mind, my spirit, and my talents.  They see beyond my physical abilities.  They see the ME that CAN DO IT!  If you are in a business or an entrepreneur, find a mentor who loves you, cares for you and believes in you.  

I am blessed to have a home.  It keeps me safe, warm, and I can sleep on my own bed.  Cook the food I want, take a nice hot bath, play with my dog, read a book in my bed, and just be ME.  

One of the least things that we do, and I am guilty of this too, is that we take things for granted.  Be grateful. When we pray, make sure to tell the Great Spirit, what you are grateful for.  After all, He's the one that gives you the blessings.  And take action when opportunities come to you.  Smile more, worry less because problems are temporary.  

Pray, Ask, Belief, Be grateful, and be the miracle who can share the blessings with others.

Reinvent yourself with PASSION!

               

     How do you reinvent yourself?  What is your passion?  What do you love to do?  Every one of you has a gift.  Look at everyone being successful now.  They found their passion.  With that passion, you have the potential to do great things and provide service that can be the answer to the problem.  

    I remembered my father used to say to me "If you work as a garbage man, you be the best garbage man you can be".  What he's saying was that, it doesn't matter what you do, be the best.  My father was a Marine because that was what he wanted to be as a child and that was HIS PASSION and DREAM.  He joined the best of the best.  He retired as a Marine and he still creates his new passions.  We are never growing too old to find our passions. 

    First, always make sure you are full of gratitude for being alive.  YOU have a reason to be alive and this is a great time to find your passion.  Believe in yourself.  Do not be afraid of failure.  

    Every one of you has a special natural ability called TALENT.  Some of you can write, draw, sing, act, paint, and many other skills. 

    Every one of you needs to have a strong feeling or excitement about something!  It's called PASSION!

    PRAY with your heart.  Your mind and heart should be in harmony.      

    Every one of you can change your BELIEF.  What you believe will affect who you are. 

    Have FAITH in your passion,  your talent, your skills, do what makes you happy  

    LOVE yourself.  Love how you are made.  There's no one like you. 

    MEDITATE!  When you are stressed out, take a time out.  Breathe and clear your mind.  

    I always encourage others to read Positive and Personal Development books. When you do this, you are reinventing yourself.  INVEST IN YOURSELF!

    Be careful what you expect.  If you have negative expectations, you will get it.  If you have positive expectations no matter how difficult it may seem, you can overcome any 
obstacle.  Don't give up and keep going.  What you expect becomes real. 

    Be YOU.  Be YOURSELF.  And find people who support you and believe in your VISIONS, PASSIONS, DREAMS, and YOUR SUCCESS.

"WHAT IF?" MINDSET GAME

    Recently, I have been playing the game called "WHAT IF".  

    You may be wondering and asking this question, 'why?"  

    The reason why I started this mind game called, "what if",  was because of my negative mindset.  For years, I have always thought of myself as:

    I am not good enough. 
    I am not smart enough.
    I am not able to.
    I can't be successful. 
    I can't do this because I am disabled. 
    I can't be wealthy because I am not as educated or have that certain degree under my belt. 

    And the list goes on and on.
    
    I am sure you all have those types of thoughts on your mind.   How does it feel when you have those thoughts?  It sure doesn't feel good!  Do those thoughts benefit you?  Do these thoughts help you? Can they help you? What if we can change those thoughts into positive affirmations or intentions.  What if these thoughts can allow us to reexamine ourselves and turn them into inspired actions for us to solve them? 

    What's amazed me about this mindset game was that I have learned to change my own mindset.  It doesn't matter what opinions others may have given to me or what society believes in.  I don't focus on the news, the media, or people in general.  I tend to focus more on how to improve myself and provide services that can help solve problems.  The more I challenged myself to change my mindset and learned to focus on positive thoughts and intentions, the more I love who I am as I continue to improve my inner me.  

    So let me give you an example.  Recently I was looking at my blog site and I told myself, I am going to write something that can uplift people who needed it but then I questioned myself with a negative mindset.  I began to feel irritated, upset, discouraged, and many other feelings developed from that mindset.  I started to realized that I have to take full responsibility for my own mind, emotion, and spirit.  It's my responsibility to create a positive mindset, happy feelings, and grateful spirit.  I will you this, it does not happen overnight.  It is a process of filtering out the bad junk out of our minds and bringing in the good thoughts.  Once I find the cause of my unswerving negative mindset, I immediately forgave myself for allowing that to happen.  It's my fault!  I am the one that made the choice to keep that negative programming in my own mind! 

    Here is one of the suggestions:  Write them down.  Write what triggered the negative thoughts in your mind and I must warn you, they won't feel good but you got to feel it in order to turn that feeling into a peaceful feeling.  Since we were born, we have been fed all kinds of information that can either help or destroy us.  One of the biggest problems I see as a former pastor was that no one taught us how to filter them out.  Imagine if we all can filter the negative junk that doesn't serve us and bring in the positive thoughts that can bring joy, happiness, courage, increase our faith, and love ourselves more every day. Again, write down the negative things about yourself and then read it.  Ask yourself this  Do I believe that?  Does it serve me?  How does it help me? Does this make me feel good?  Why am I thinking that way?  What causes me to think that way?  How will it affect my mind, emotion, and health?  As you know, one of the main causes of any type of disease is STRESS.  

    Notice this word, "DISEASE".  Separate them into 2 
syllabi, (DIS)(EASE).  According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of the word, "dis" is "do the opposite of" and "ease" is "freedom from pain or discomfort".    Put those two words together and you will have the opposite to have the freedom from pain and discomfort!  The Mind itself can create disease into our body, emotion, and spirit!  Wow!  This is mindboggling!  Who knew about this?  If anyone knew about this, I wish they told me this when i was younger!  Now look at this word, "stress", it means "a physical, chemical, or emotional factor that causes bodily or mental tension and may be a factor in disease causation".  

    Now let's go back to the WHAT IF game.  What is one thing that is negative on your mind?  It can be a financial problem, relationship, anything you can think of.  Now write them down.  Look at it and feel the discomfort.  Remember to take full responsibility and owe the feeling.  Now change the thought to what if to something positive.  When you change the statement to a positive outcome in writing, you will start to feel good about it and learn the lesson.  It will bring ideas, opportunities, deserving help, and things will turn around.  Problems are there to be solved.  

    No matter what, don't be afraid to ask for help.  Look around and you will see numerous of opportunities that can turn every problem into blessings.  What you need to do, including myself, is trust in yourself and the process.  Have faith, be happy, smile more, and enjoy life.  

    Do this and see your life transform as you improve your mind, your soul, and your spirit.  Love yourself, believe in the Higher Power, and enjoy LIFE!

    Remember to Smile more and keep the faith!  Trust yourself!

Entrepreneur Do's and Don'ts


As I write this blog, I have been giving a lot of thought to what we should or shouldn't do.  

I have had my share of failures and accomplishments during the last 10 years and I am still learning as an entrepreneur.  

This can be for anyone in general.  If you are an employee, entrepreneur, or CEO or janitor, teacher, anything, this can help.  

Things that we shouldn't verse should do as an entrepreneur or for anyone: 

DO NOT PANIC:

    Understanding how you feel when things aren't going the way you wanted to go is part of being an entrepreneur.  It can be not enough sales, getting many "NO's", bad leaderships, etc... Those things shouldn't cause you to become anxious but think of these as a positive lesson to help improve your abilities as an entrepreneur.  Remember this:  You create your reality.  No one can create it for you.  When you panic, you are only focusing on the negative happenings and that can bring you stress, resentments, or worse.  You are responsible for what you believe in and what you do as a person. 

BE GRATEFUL

    One of the hardest things I had to learn is to be grateful.  I had to switch from being unhappy to a happy mindset knowing that I can get more sales, more YES, and also find new leaders or mentors to guide me.  But one thing you must remember:  It starts with you.  Your belief and your mindset can change how you are as an entrepreneur. What are you grateful for?  It can be your family, your businesses, positive people who believe in you and your success.  It can be a dog or cat, or snake (yikes!) or my favorite, a praying mantis.  Write down what you are grateful for.  Start today and you will feel good about yourself.  Smile more no matter what!  

DO NOT FOCUS ON THE NEGATIVE NEWS, PEOPLE, AND MEDIA. 

    Since the internet began, there have been more negative propaganda and news and what made it worse is that people are focusing on them! If the internet has the power to feed you the negative news and media, why not switch to the positive news and be surrounded by inspiring happy people that believe in you and your success? Let me ask you this:  How does it feel when you watch the negative news about the war, the economic worries, the pandemic, etc?? Does that make you feel good?  No!  Thousand times NO!  Sure, they may say, "we need to be informed" but it doesn't mean you have to believe in them.  That's why I stopped looking at the news.  It does not bring me peace, happiness, and inspiration.  

FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE NEWS. 

    For the past year or two, I have been focusing on the positive.  I'll be honest, it wasn't easy.  I was so used to the old habits of allowing the negative programming from the news, the media, and the people that were feeling me were infecting my mind, soul, and spirit.  Notice the word, "DISEASE" have two syllables:  DIS-EASE.  When your mind is focused on the negative, what happens?  It breaks down your mental, emotional, and spiritual harmony.  Focus on the news that brings harmony to your whole self.  A positive mindset with happy emotions and spiritual awakenings can bring stability to your life.  What you believe is your choice.  I suggest you make a choice to focus on the good news.  Focus on LOVE, GRATITUDE, and TAKE INSPIRED actions.  When you are inspired to do something positive, you can bring more smiles and happiness not only to other people but to you as well. It feels good to do something loving and inspiring for others. 


DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED

    I know there are days that can be discouraging but know this:  It's only temporary.  There are many that have lost jobs, got laid off, got divorced, sick, have a medical diagnosis, etc.. You name it.  These things are yours to keep if you continue to believe in them. or not let them go  What you believe or dwell on, will only affect you.  So change your belief!  I am deaf and an amputee.  So what?  Who cares?  What matters is what I believe.  It's my belief that my disabilities are only making me a stronger person.  So what if you are getting rejected by people, or prospects that don't want your services?  There are BILLIONS of people in the world and plenty that need your services.   When you are discouraged, you are sending the vibes that make others feel unwanted, undeserving of the need of the services, or worse, rejected.  What you feel will feed the vibes to others and they will stay away from you. 

HAVE CONFIDENCE

    Trust in yourself.  For many years, I have preached about how to trust God.  Yes, it is important to have faith.  You can call Him whatever you want.  It's YOUR FAITH.   How is your faith serving you?  Like I said, your faith is your choice of belief.  If you believe in the negative news, media, people, then your faith is on the negative side of the coin.  But there's always the other, better, powerful, and encouraging side of the coin, it's positive news, positive energy, positive people, that can boost your confidence in yourself.  Trust in yourself and have faith in the positive outcome.  It's okay to ask for help from the Divine, whom I call Him: GOD, the MOST HIGH, that's my faith.  What's yours?  You can be anything you want to be if you start to believe in your ABILITIES and YOURSELF.  There no one like you and guess what, YOU ARE AMAZING.  


For years, I have always believed that no one will read my blog.  Now, I have confidence that people will read it.  Why?  Because I believe in myself that I have the ability to write blogs that can inspire others to be the best they can be and bring a positive mindset if they choose to.  No matter what happens, don't be panic, discouraged, and focus on any negative things that bring negative outcomes to your whole self.  Focus on the LOVE, CONFIDENCE, POSITIVE NEWS, and OH!  One more thing: HAVE POSITIVE INSPIRING BELIEF IN YOURSELF.  Again, YOU ARE AMAZING.  

Be surrounded by positive and success-driven people. Be happy, grateful, and again, believe in yourself.  

Even I am still learning!
